One could also use to increase Intellect and mana regeneration of all party member close to the demon. The Warlock employing a meleeing Felhunter can also use to give amplified direct damage to enemies. The Felhunter is your anti-caster minion, with high magic resist and abilities to Counterspell ( ), and remove buffs from enemies ( ). Their low health and armor makes them easy to kill, thereby eliminating the Crowd Control ability and leaving the warlock without a pet. At higher levels the Sayaad is not a good means of using Crowd Control. Other spells include, which charms a target for 15 seconds (or until attacked). Their first ability,, is a direct-damage, low-mana cast that deals shadow damage to their target. The Sayaad is replete with spells that deal damage and mesmerize the enemy in different ways. His tanking abilities allow him to serve as a low-level tank for soloing, but not for low-level dungeons groups. This demon has abilities helpful in PvP as well as when soloing. The Felguard is the most powerful permanent Warlock minion.

Additional Voidwalker spells include Sacrifice, which reduces your Voidwalker's health but creates a 30-second damage absorption shield for the warlock, and, which is an out-of-combat self-heal for the Voidwalker. At higher levels, however, it is unable to hold a mob's attention for very long. The Voidwalker's main ability,, is a taunt that causes enemies to attack the Voidwalker. He is an excellent tank, and is able to keep aggro. This demon deals little damage, but has very good armor and hit points. At max level, the Imp is generally favoured by Destruction warlocks. The Imp is a damaging minion in the warlock's arsenal, at least until he runs out of Mana. The Imp is very fragile and will die quickly if attacked. The Imp's main role is a support minion, designed to do additional damage alongside the caster via its attack. Warlocks can summon a variety of minions, each exhibiting different skill sets which are useful in different situations: Only Demonology warlocks are able to summon the Felguard, through the ability. Deathstalkers, Vilefiends, Demonic Tyrants, Infernals and Darkglares function as guardians, and may be used along with other demonic pets. Warlocks must choose which one of the available permanent minions to have active at any time. Darkglare: Obtained at level 42, only for Affliction warlocks. Infernal: Obtained at level 42, only for Destruction warlocks. Demonic Tyrant: Obtained at level 42, only for Demonology warlocks.
